Dust and ashes, drifting on the wind.
It is a bleak sight that greets us today… but nothing different, really. The same barren landscape, beneath the same, cloudy sky. Gentle hills that are anything but gentle in truth… as dust and ashes drift on the wind.
This was once a wonderful place…. A paradise for all, the center of an empire…. The city of Arcadia. Once, a massive, ivory spire, the dragon spire, stood, looming over all in sight. But now, centuries later, all that is left are ashes, and dust. Dust and ashes.

Still the same day, actually. Still hot as hell, and now, acid rain is pouring from the sky, a light drizzle all over Avalon City. It’s not a strong acid, mind you… just enough that it tingles against your skin… but it plays hell on your clothes, and your skin turns a VERY odd color if you go out in it. And, if you should get some in your eye…. Well, let’s just say it’s good to wear a mask in this sort of weather. And, thankfully, I have mine with me… custom made, thank you!
